Equipment Resource

Our retirement sale was a success due to Greg McGrew’s auctioneer service. Greg’s preparation and execution of the sale were impeccable. He guided us through this experience and made it stress-free. Greg’s all-star team was helpful and professional. Our retirement sale was a monumental event in our business and personal life. We are so glad we chose Greg to be our auctioneer. Thank you for a wonderful day!

John & Jeanne Sussman

After many years and many pieces of equipment consigned to McGrew, I can truly say they have been exceptionally good to deal with, and I typically am surprised by the final amount they bring. Their employees have always been very friendly, professional, courteous and knowledgeable – something that is getting more difficult to find in a company these days.

Consigning equipment with McGrew Equipment is so easy. I just drop it off and they take it from there. Everything from the advertising, to the final sale on auction day. It’s done!

Very good people to deal with. I have made several purchases since 2023, and I watch their auctions more than any others in the region due to selection and pricing.

Over the years I have purchased dozens of machines from McGrew Auction , I can say that if I ever had any issues they took care of it without hesitation and treated me very well . It’s not often the owner of a company reaches out to its customers but Greg is that guy ! Speaks volumes of his commitment to provide a good buying experience. A+ Service!

In 2017, I was new to the world of equipment when I made my first purchase at McGrew Auction. This purchase was a great experience and has resulted in many more from them since! McGrew Auction is large enough to provide a good and steady selection of equipment… yet small enough to personally know their buyers and treat them as friends. I can highly recommend buying from them.

How It Works

Host Your Own Auction

Have McGrew come to you. Shipping equipment can come with a big price tag–one you might not want. That’s why we recommend hosting your own auction. You still get the turnkey experience we’re known for without the difficulty and expense of shipping your assets. We’ll take care of everything, including an on-site professional who can walk you through the process, conduct the auction, and handle pickup. And we can make it happen as soon as 30 days from when you reach out. It’s a fast, efficient, and low-stress way to handle your liquidation.

Ship Your Equipment

Move your equipment–literally. If you need to clear space fast then you can ship your assets to our Seven Valleys location. We’ll auction them at our bi-weekly agricultural and industrial auctions to our loyal customer base. This option is ideal for sellers with small to mid-size equipment interested in little-to-no downtime at their own facility. We’ll walk you through the shipment process and handle the rest from listing to buyer pickup.

Frequently Asked Equipment Liquidation Questions

Yes because auctions create competition. That drives urgency, eliminates drawn-out negotiations, and delivers true market value fast.

Equipment auctions are designed for speed. Once your equipment is evaluated and listed, auctions can convert assets to cash in weeks, not months. No waiting on the “right buyer.”

Construction equipment, trucks, trailers, attachments, shop equipment, agricultural machinery, and surplus inventory all perform well at auction. If your equipment has market demand, we can position it to attract the right buyers.

We market directly to qualified buyers. McGrew leverages nation-wide advertising and social media presence and a large bidder network to drive real demand.

We handle all the heavy lifting—from equipment evaluation and marketing to managing bids, payments, and buyer coordination. You stay focused on your business—we handle the sale.

We pride ourselves on transparency and clearly outline commissions and costs upfront. You know exactly what to expect and can confidently plan around your net proceeds.
